I was pleasantly surprised at how well this went together and the instructions were easy to follow. The pieces were not all labeled however they were easy to identify. The instructions told you an extra screw of each size was included so you did t think you forgot to use one. I was able to put it together easily by myself (65 year old woman)just needed help to put it outside. The heating pads worked very well and I think the cats will be very warm this winter. The observation window is obstructed by the insulation so you cannot see the cats inside while it’s inserted. Love this little house! It's so adorable. It was a bit hard to assemble, especially the parts for the roof that opens, but I got it done in ~3 or so hours. Love the look! My cat is obsessed with being outside in our protected yard and sometimes refuses to come inside even when the weather changes for the worse. So I needed something to protect her. This little house does the trick beautifully. However, at first I thought my cat hated the house. For weeks she refused to go inside, and if I put her in, sge immediately ran out. I think it could be because of the smell of paint, which lingered for quite a while despite veing aired a lot. But after a few weeks, just when I lost all hope and thought she'd never like the house, I started finding her sleeping inside of it or standing atop of it curiously!
