This is a beautiful, heavy, well-made piece. The shape is so elegant and pleasing to look at that I got two. The drawer opens easily and though it is not very tall, it holds the necessities. My only complaint is that the glossy finish on the table top shows dust like crazy so I keep a microfiber cloth in the drawer. It also scratches pretty easily so be careful to back any heavy items with felt, keep it dusted, and do not slide any objects across it. The scratches are barely visible except in bright light, but it seems the finish should be more durable. I will probably get a piece of glass to protect them.
