The Rancourt nightstand features a solid bamboo drawer box that is finished inside and out, constructed using English dovetail joinery, and using soft closing, undermount drawer glides. Beautiful piece of furniture. The wood is smooth to the touch and rich with detail. The craftmanship is excellent. The only minor downside (hence 4 stars instead of 5) is that the drawers require a little extra effort to open due to the anti-tip mechanism that only allows one drawer to be open at a time (which is great if you have kids). But you can remove the anti-tip mechanism with a screw driver if the drawer inertia is annoying, and just attach the dresser to a wall with an anti-tip strap instead.. Timothy. Seattle, WA.
