The glass goes to a waterjet and the plate is cut out. Then, the glass is placed onto a mold and taken to 1300°f, the glass becomes elastic and gravity pulls the glass over the mold. Hot Knobs call this process slumping. The glass spends about 48 hours in the kilns. Expect slight variations in color and size.
