Very sturdy! Great for kids to sit at the island. I wanted something that a group of kids could eat at, and not get crumbs all over the house. This is a quality piece that will last a long time. I do wish that it was less ‘red’ wood and more toned down—but that’s my personal preference. It’s nice wood so I can paint it or sand and re-stain. I would recommend this piece to a friend.. Katie.
