This commercial grade downlight is ideal for new construction when specified with a 4" x 2 1/8" square or octagonal J box. It is also conveniently UL Listed for wet conditions only indoor wet locations such as above a shower. For exterior they would need to be installed in damp location such as a covered porch, soffit, etc.. A place where the fixtures would not receive direct saturation.

Update* I added this to the be notified when restocked list last September. I received an email this July notifying me that they were available again, ordered and received before promised date, opened and was so disappointed…. These are ‘NOT’ retrofit lighting kits, they are new install. Called customer service, explained the problem and that these are described incorrectly on their site.
