The bedside furniture features 2 spacious drawers for storing reading material and personal items, both finished with smooth metal drawer slides and knobs, along with a sturdy tabletop and a sliding tray for electronics management. Convenient charging station half of the bedside nightstand’s top tray slides out, giving you easy access to the charging station without having to move the items on top. Under the lower sliding piece are a fixed shelf and power bar, so devices can be plugged in with the cords hidden inside the furniture. When charging devices with the tray closed, cords can be passed through a groove, so phones or tablets can still be seen. This fit perfectly in the space I needed it to and the measurements were spot on. The headboard is reversible where you have an option for the hideaway shelf on either side. The instructions were all picture based so we muddled through based off inferences on the diagrams, so it was slightly easy to put together. Took us about 30 minutes with two people. I bought this bed for my elderly mother who needs lots of functional and easily accessible storage for her medicine, medical devices, etc. Her previous bed she has stuff all over the floor, under the bed, and random small mismatched bookshelf next to the bed. She loves this. It’s easy for one to put together and the base of the bed is super sturdy. The 4 stars is because bookshelf isn’t as sturdy or connected as I think it should be.
