Just installed and I'm very excited with this new addition to my kitchen cabinet. I needed something that'll help with accessing items quickly without having to take everything out. However, there are 2 things I would've done differently: 1.) I measured the width according to website but after installation, I think I could've gone about 1" wider. Had enough clearance from hinges. 2.) Instruction manual says to mark 3/8" from shelf opening edge but after installation I think it should've been more like 5/8" - 3/4" because the face of slide-out shelf juts out ever~ so slightly (about 1/8") Luckily the cabinet door still close but it does bother me a little. These are very well-built shelves! I have all our pots and pans in one cabinet and it’s heavy, and both shelves slide out easily! We bought 8 of these shelves for our kitchen and they’re all working great. They do require you to pre-measure your cabinets to ensure a correct fit, and they did take awhile for my husband to install, but rest assured, they are high quality! Helpful tip instead of installing these to shelves, we used furring strips on the underside of where we wanted the slide-out shelves to be, and then attached the shelves to those. We moved into a home where the Builder didnt pay much attention to detail. We got these because we have limited cabinet space but the Builder also installed deep cabinets which are very difficult to get to the items way back in the cabinet. This fixes all of that.
