These bed risers did what they were expected to do. The material is tough, I bumped my toe and it hurt. I purchased these to make a short platform bed (purchased from Wayfair) taller. Being 6ft, it was a hard climb out. One of the cones developed a crack and the bed slipped, however that cone bears a lot of weight due to it being my "sit spot" when I'm not laying down, but because even when cracked it held the weight, I'm happy..
