Usually “firm” is not my cup of tea. However, as someone with chronic back pain and peripheral neuropathy it usually what is recommended for me. I just have not found them terribly comfortable and easy to relax in. So imagine my surprise when I fell asleep within a few minutes of getting sheets on the mattress. This week, I’ve been able to sleep for longer stretches than I’ve been able to in months. What’s more, I tend to move a lot in my sleep. Like, A LOT…..to the point where my old mattress would be several inches offsides from the box springs in the mornings and once or twice a month even partially off the frame. This bad boy, however, doesn’t seem to have moved a single inch since the install date. Thumbs up from this rather finicky and rambunctious sleeper. PS I also have sleep apnea. It’s only been a few nights, but my events per hour have seemingly been halved so far (in addition to much longer sleep times).. Carmel O. Wed Mar 04 2026
