Modern artistry meets traditional Himalayan craftsmanship.
Hand-knotted in Nepal, these exceptional rugs are woven using an elevated blend of high-land wool and fine natural silk. The wool is sourced from sheep raised at elevations of 10,000 feet in the Himalayan region, where the cold climate naturally increases the lanolin content in the fleece. This results in a wool fiber that is stronger, denser, and more resilient than low-altitude wool ā giving Nepalese rugs their renowned durability, softness, and long-lasting beauty.
The addition of silk introduces a subtle luminosity, allowing each rug to shift beautifully in changing light. Together, these premium materials create a surface with both body and elegance: warm wool for structure, and silk highlights for movement and depth.
Nepalese rugs are celebrated for their modern interpretation of traditional techniques. Their hand-knotted construction allows artisans to create painterly abstract designs, layered textures, and sophisticated color transitions. Whether composed of muted greys and creams or accented with vibrant touches of rust, gold, or blue, each piece embodies a balanced harmony between contemporary design and timeless craftsmanship.
