A series of connected and enlarged palmettes in the field and border of the rug are uniform in scale, recreating the simple majesty of Oushak tribal carpets in colors representative of highly prized 19th-century antiques. For centuries, nomadic weavers have used the same large motifs, extra thick yarn, and large Turkish-style knots employed in Banbury, which adapt beautifully to 21st-century homes and lifestyles because of their casual, informal appearance.

Even prettier than shown online. The ivory is darker--almost a goldish green. There's a weird smell on the rug that I hope will evaporate now that it's unwrapped. UPDATE: Just changed to 5 stars.
