The rug is a very good quality and super soft. It has low pile which I do like as well because it is pretty hard to find these days. However, what appears to be charcoal grey color of the pattern in reality is very light silver with a distinct blue /navy color. It is by any means NOT gray. In a bright daylight it is almost blue.
