When your ensemble is in need of a little illumination, you might be tempted to install a hardwired luminary or spring for an end table and a lamp to go with it. The easiest solution? A floor lamp! Take this one for example: the perfect pick for any French country cottage-inspired aesthetic, it showcases a traditional silhouette and boasts a lightly distressed white finish. It’s crafted from cast resin and features a fabric drum shade in cream coloring.

The arcing design of this floor lamp makes it the perfect light source for reading in a recliner or working at a desk, while its slender metal pole and low-profile base in the dark bronze finish making it easy to position near love seats, couches, armchairs, or side tables. Designed in an inverted basket shape, the woven light rattan shade illuminates your space with warm light and creates a relaxed and natural focal point for any living space, bedroom, or office. Operated by a rotary switch located on the stem to easily turn it on or off, the lamp powers a 100W bulb (not included).

I was taken aback by how large this guy is. I bought an open box, and it came in a disappointing beige color. However, the quality is great and has a lot of potential as a reading light.. Anonymous. Fri Aug 14 2026
