The product arrived in two different shipments. Once all 5 boxes were here we hired someone to put it together for us; assembly took 3-4 hours but was a smooth process. There are many pieces but directions are clear and hardware was well labeled. It is a very sturdy piece of furniture. While we received and assembled the cabinetry for the bed, we are awaiting delivery of our mattress to try it out.
