This extendable dining table is built by solid oak wood with easy maintain high pressure laminate top, which able to provides durability to last for years. The high-pressure laminated top features a smooth, scratch-resistant surface framed with solid oak edges, pedestal, and legs in a warm golden chestnut finish.

The table itself is beautiful and very well-made. The only thing that I have a problem with is when they assemble it. They need to be more careful on how they put the screws in because there were several screws that came out or were stripped or had broken wood on the table, but I contacted customer service and they help resolve the issue quickly and Efficiently..
