So I like the water heater so far. The thing that I hate most is that I paid almost 800 for this and for it to come with all the dings that it came with I should be reimbursed. Also Wayfair lead with it being about it being placed in whatever you of your choice the 2 delivery men told me absolutely not that’s not what they are suppose to do and they tried to leave it on my front porch!!!!!. Very quiet, dynamic controls that allow me to schedule increased capacity while my PV is producing electricity, increasing capacity with internal mixing valve while keeping it in heat pump only mode. It’s very efficient, Designers and engineers were definitely listening to the community of heat pump hot water heater users and stepped it up. I have an old water tank on it's last legs. My reasoning for buying this GE tank was to prolong the life of my existing tank. I'll keep it in site of the old hot water tank. Replaced a gas water heater after 30+ years. Initially it saved a lot compared to electric. But LP gas has gotten so high that I felt I was not saving anymore.
