I love this rug. I usually buy wool because of the the sustainability and they are healthier to breathe. Some review say this is a taupe but it is cool brown with cream mixed which makes it look that way. This is not a warm brown with yellow tint. I love the way the pattern is made from two kinds of pile making it subtle which is what I wanted. It's made well and fairly thick. I don't see any shedding as others have said but wool can do that sometimes. Im happy, it has made my place feel warmer and goes with my antique and modern furniture. Hope that helps. Karen. Online photos are difficult when making purchases. The photos in the description of this rug make it appear more cream than it is in person (see my photos).
