The Dundee Collection

This unique sculpture is a bit horrifying but at the same time strongly influential. The piece shows a male's burnt face, this male has an extended neck that is also burned. It's quite interesting how the artist caught in detail the face structure and the burn marks to the last little key. If you have ever been burned by anything flammable, you will know how harsh and excruciating it was to go through something so horrible. However, this sculpture is a piece that you can relate to not because of the pain you endured but as a sign of strength and optimism for your future. The handmade bronze sculpture was captured using the ancient method of lost-wax casting and stained with a brown patina for perpetuation. It is mounted upon a black marble base with the European bronze finery stamp of quality.
