The daybed is solid and the wood is excellent. However, the paint scratches very easily. I've had to touch up many spots after putting it together. Assembling the bed was quite a chore. One person needs a box to hold up the other side while screwing in the bolts. It took me several hours to complete. I bought a mattress and cover for it, but it is not a 5 star.. Sharon.
