Couch is extremely well made…all fabric seams are straight and frame is solid. It is firm for seating but not unforgiving or uncomfortable..I feel it will hold up well. Fabric is a blue gray pillow ticking and high quality. I sprayed with Scotchgard but think spills would roll off anyway. Delivery was great: two guys moved my old couch for me then unpacked and put the new one in place. From what I explored at local stores I feel this couch was a good buy!. Nancy Justine. This set has potential but a couple of things that made us return it. The frame is metal pipes , so very little to no wood , but that’s not a huge issue. The metal is well wrapped in foam. The problem are 1. The asssembly is extensive , a lot of nuts bolts to deal with . 2. The cushions are velvet but are shipped shoved into various nooks n crannies and are extremely compressed crushing and creasing the velvet that doesn’t recover 3.
