Well made. The shelves need to be staggered, unlike in the photo. That's fine for me since I have some very large books and photo albums.. Gary. Carlsbad, CA. Sun Jul 27 2025

A traditional bookcase adds elegant storage to offices and home libraries. Five roomy shelves provide space to arrange favorite books, decor, and display pieces. Stacked detailing at the top and a gently curved upper profile create a refined silhouette, while the burnished oak finish brings warmth throughout. Bracket-style legs complete the piece with stable support and classic character suited to a polished office setting.

This shelf is beautiful but I am very disappointed that the matching desk I ordered was canceled. Now I'm stuck with a non matching set and wayfair wouldn't give me store credit for the shelf or allow me to return the item because it was already assembled. The shelf was great, but the service after wayfair canceled my item was not good at all.. Aubrey. Eielson Afb, AK. Mon May 18 2026

A piece (uneven wooden bar) at base of bookshelf was broken, no instructions were given (their function was unclear, if they were supposed to be legs they would have scratched my floors, it was unfinished plywood). These were expensive and should at least include a sheet with something written in them. I Ended up taking these pieces off with a hammer. The shelves inside of the bookcases were loose inside and moving around during shipment. This scratched some areas of the wood. Hidden areas ( back of shelves and underside of unit) are unfinished. There was fine sawdust, so the whole unit has to be wiped. Other than that it's a sturdy well made unit. I wouldn't say it's solid wood, however it's a good quality plywood. The bookcases (fully built) are shipped inside of a pallet and padded cardboard wrapped in plastic, which helps protect them. Marlene. Carson, CA. Tue Feb 18 2025

I got this bookcase for my daughter's room. She is a book lover and it fit perfectly. Exactly what she was looking for. I assembled it. It took few hours. The box was delivered by FedEx and came a bit damaged so I was afraid that it might be damage inside but it wasn't as it was very nicely packed.. Natasa. Glenview, IL. Tue May 12 2026

Stratton emulates the grand scale and timeless beauty of a Gothic library. Distinguishing details include elegant arches, fluted corbels, dentil molding, and beadboard back panels. Hardwood veneers have been wire brushed and intentionally distressed to present an authentic aged appearance and are enhanced by the rich toffee finish. The five-step wooden ladder can be hung on metal bars for an added touch of nostalgia.

BEAUTIFUL and well made! Absolutely worth the price. Shipping was easy, and bookshelves came pre-assembled.. Audrey. Colorado. Sat Oct 03 2026
