Very sturdy but the directions were not very clear. Just so you know you will have to have a drill to put in some screws. I have used it to get into the pool and it's much better than the ladder that came with it but we attached it to a wooden deck that we built. Of course because it's a half ladder... Camille. ID. This pool ladder features 4 steps and height-adjustable handrails with an ergonomic slanted design; each handrail includes a 9.8-inch optional extension piece, flexibly meeting your needs. Ideal for pools with 48–54 inch water depth, plus outdoor/indoor bathtubs, water parks, and more, it supports up to 500 LBS for users of various body types. Thickened steps with non-slip textures ensure safe, stable stepping. Snap-on splicing combined with screw reinforcement creates a tight, non-loosening connection, while stone-filling holes allow water or stone filling to increase weight and improve stability—just ensure the first downward step sits 12.6 inches from the ground. Made of premium HDPE, it outperforms ordinary PE in UV resistance and anti-aging, and the rounded, polished handrail edges offer a comfortable, firm grip. A full accessory set enables fast, easy assembly, including an expansion screw kit, though additional screws may be needed for some scenarios.
