I have four cats and when I move from one state to another, I had to fly all of them in separate carriers. This carrier worked well and survived being handled by taxi drivers and airline baggage handlers. Once we reached our destination, the cats used it as a hide-away bed until they got comfortable with their new surroundings. I think if it was used a lot, the plastic locking knobs might break.
