The Verne four light semi flush fixture in burnished brass is a mid-century modern collection from ED Ellen DeGeneres Crafted by Visual Comfort. This collection resurfaces elements from the genre of Steam Punk, blending romantic features of the Victorian era, with the harder features of the Industrial Revolution. The defined arms and edges reinforce refined sensibility, and the delicate bleaker glass shades can culminate a refined presence in your space.

Unfortunately, the light bulb size listed on Wayfair's website and elsewhere was not accurate. It takes a bulb with a G16 shape and an E12 candelabra tip. Wayfair's customer service helped me find the right bulb size. Otherwise the lamp is striking looking, and heavy, very well made. I need it to light up a loft area, and have put a dimmer switch on it.. Conny. Encino, CA. Wed Dec 17 2025

We wanted a dimmable, flush mount light that was pretty diffuse for the area above our dining area. The light area is not exactly centered in this area based on where we have the windows and the table so we were looking for a somewhat unique pattern where you wouldn't notice that. Though this light is pretty uniform in shape overall, it does the trick. It is quite bright and a bit whiter than I could have wanted, especially at night (a little bit more of the warehouse vibes versus cozy vibes) but overall, we are happy with this light and it is working well for our area..
