I have been trying to determine the size of an average decorative sphere. Most of those in furniture accessories sale told me that 6" was standard, so I ordered a 6" crystal ball. It was huge and I had to return it. I've received a variety of comments on how to measure a ball, none of which were helpful. I've read numerous customer comments, hoping that someone would state the size of a standard decorative sphere, so I wouldn't have to keep buying and returning the wrong size. When I saw the Oren Ellis Mandell clear crystal spheres sizes 3.5 and 4.5,I decided to take a chance on the sizes. Eureka! Both sizes worked in my bowl. This is the perfect size glass cube to display different pieces of art or you can use a small vase on top it’s the third one I have . I also collect glassy baby’s and in the evening it take the candles and colors to a higher level ! These cubes are very Expensive high end stores sell them for twice the price I knew the measurements when I received it but was overwhelmed with their actual size once I unboxed it. Excellent made! .
