The rug came true to color, it looked like its pictures online. It’s kind of a silky-smooth, almost shiny or slippery kind of material We only just got it down (difficult to position over wall to wall carpeting and a lot of furniture), so I can’t speak to its durability or clean-ability yet, but it seems like it will hold up well. Even though it came folded up in a bag, it didn’t have any creases or wrinkles once we laid it out. It has an anti-slip rubber backing that would probably work well in hardwood floors.. Alexis.
