Shipment was quick. Couch cushion covers packaged separately. There were no instructions included... luckily it wasn't rocket science to assemble! My husband assembled the couch on his own. I don't recall how long it took... not an overly long time. As far as comfort goes, I find the loveseat very comfy. However it is not a plush, super soft couch.
