The rocking chair is made of HDPE material, imitation wood design makes the product look more beautiful. UV inhibitors and stabilizers protect our lumber from harmful environmental degradation, along the light stable pigments run continuously throughout the material to maintain the color's vibrancy. The material is green and recyclable.

Very comfortable with the curved seat. No need for a cushion. Assemnly was straight forward but needed some muscle to get the screws all the way in and the bolts tightened down. Rocks smoothly and is more spacious than I thought it would be as far as seat width. The back height is appreciated, too. Even my picky husband is pleased with the look and quality. Very comfortable! One of my newest favorite additions to my deck. However it does not sit nearly as upright as the pictures suggest and it’s pretty easy to tip over. It sits more like a bowl, so if you don’t care about that it’s great! This chair was not hard to put together but it wasn’t easy either. It took two of us because the way it was constructed, one person had to hold the pieces while the other put the screws in or else the pieces wouldn’t line up right for the screws to go in all the way. Once we got them together, I really liked how they looked and fit in our space. They are comfortable however, you can definitely feel the braces underneath. I plan on getting a memory foam pad to cut to size and put under the cushion in hopes I can’t feel them as much. The image also makes it seem like you sit up more than you actually do. When leaning back against the cushion, you are semi-lying down. We needed to put a firm pillow behind our back to be in a more upright, sitting position. The chair back flexes a bit when sitting in the chair and one of the screws is too long (can scratch the chair back when sitting in it) so we had to cut the screw short but overall good quality for the price.. I like the color and modern style of the rocking chairs. My only concern is the light color of the cushions. I have the chairs outside and am afraid they will easily get stained. This chair is very comfortable and a delight. Assembly really requires prior experience with schematics and understanding basic aspects of hardware. However, as the pics show, the upper/seat section is out of alignment with the lower/base portion; it's pushed to one side. That results in the upper frame knocking against the rear black glide "dog bone" part. I don't understand what would cause this skewing. I kept all fasteners not-tight until everything was assembled. Fortunately the knocking only occurs if I glide far enough forward, which is actually beyond my typical glide length. But I have to take a star away because of this.. Bart. Boulder, CO.
