Popular for centuries this style of  Large Turned Leg Table was first produced as an etagere which, once broken or damaged, would have been cut down to make an end table as you see here. They were in such high demand that cabinet makers began producing them as you see them now. The Niagara Furniture version of the Large Turned Leg Table is slightly larger than the original to allow for modern living spaces. Solid and decorative these end tables are perfect in the living room but are also often utilized as nightstands in the bedroom. Frequently purchased in pairs.

While petite and elegant, this faithful antique reproduction is also sturdy and strong. Great quality construction is the hallmark of the table and it includes a sold mahogany column, solid mahogany legs, and dovetailed joinery. All of these pieces are produced by hand by skilled artisans with many years of training and experience and then finished which will compliment almost any room setting.

This end table with it’s interesting and attractive shape the top is further decorated with satinwood and mahogany banding around a figural mahogany field. Similarly decorated the two drawers are dovetailed and feature finely detailed hardware of the finest quality. And all of this is supported on four turned, reeded legs ending in solid brass caps.

In a vintage 18th Century pedestal table design with a pie-shaped top, this piece exudes character with classic fluted, beaded, and flared legs. This enticing table is crafted from hardwood solids and walnut veneers.
