Great sconce! I hate using the overhead lights in my kitchen, and my kitchen doesn’t have windows, so it gets pretty dark at night even with the light it gets from the lamps in my living room. Because of my dislike of using the big lights, I have been searching for a way to avoid using them without putting a lamp on my kitchen counter and creating clutter. Cue this sconce! It checks all my boxes on clutter-free lighting and looks great. Plus, I love that it has a plug-in option—I didn’t want anything hardwired since I live in an apartment building, and I feel like most cute, reasonably priced sconces are only offered in a hardwired option. These are super duper cute, and now that I have them installed, I love them. Installation of this type of base where you have to line up two screws, and do it level is always a pain, and it was pretty difficult to even get the base lined up with the screws, but now that they’re up, I really love them.. We put these up today - and they are beautiful for our daughter’s room! They are woven, with a rattan, and look super textural. They have this sweet little scallop detail at the end of the shade, and the gold detailing on the arm of the sconces looks good. The one qualm I have, if any, is that the 40 watt bulb necessary is not a standard voltage, so the bottom portion of the bulb is not a standard size. Luckily, we had a set of these bulbs in our home.
