I was so excited about this rug. Luckily I ordered the small size to see it in person before getting the big one I needed. It was just really different from how I thought-- (1) there is no variation in pile height (the design is the same height as the background); and (2) the color is much darker than pictured. From this photo and other stock photos online, I was expecting a very light beige with ivory on the areas with the sheen. In person, it looks almost like a green-y beige. Definitely more olive undertones. The pile is medium, so it is relatively thick. It just didn't look or feel as luxurious as I wanted and was expecting. Cons: Color darker than pictured. Camille.
