Excuse the mess, my entire living room kitchen is still being remodeled. I wasn’t sure what to expect with this one the photos in the listing were gorgeous but I didn’t know if the gold base would ultimately look tacky or really fake when it arrived. I was SO pleasantly surprised to see that it looks extremely chic, elevated, and not at all gaudy. The engineered marble top has more of a cream background which I love, I didn’t want a stark white base color since our home will have a very warm look. I love the earthy tones, and the gold base looks much more like a polished brass in real life which is perfect because all of our kitchen hardware is brass. I will post an updated photo to the review when I have a home again! Also, the packaging was well-done because nothing appears dented or damaged and the assembly took about 4 minutes!
