I bought these to help reduce the wind that we get on our deck. We have them attached to the railings. Last year we had to chase our furniture a few times during our wind storms but not this year. They worked very well as a wind break. They definitely had to be secured well to keep them in place. They look very nice and add to the look of our deck instead of taking away. The biggest problem is that I think the reddish brown color just does not exist. I got what looks like the brown color. The boxes say reddish brown, but that is clearly not what they are. I saw reviews elsewhere that said the same thing. I paid more for the color I wanted and didnt get it. Once assembled it is very nice. It will hide the sight of the garage cans from the yard nicely. Assembly was a bit of a challenge. The parts in the directions did not match up. This metal privacy screen provides just the right touch of beauty and function. Although we chose not to use it with the stands, it still provides that element of privacy we wanted for under our deck. It is sturdy and we anticipate it will hold up well to the elements.
