Bought this to extend my computer desk. Perfect match height for me! Pretty pleased with it. Seems sturdy enough. The instructions say the top level can hold 75lbs, the middle 25 lbs, and the bottom 25 lbs. The assembly took me about an hour. It's relatively simple - just requires your own philips head screwdriver and screwing screws into pre-drilled holes. But there is surprisingly a lot of screwing to it. But, it helps make it feel sturdy. All the pieces and parts were there and were well organized. So if you've built any simple furniture before this won't be too challenging. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This modular design is great. I really love how I can switch up the positioning whenever I want. I can use the desk by itself, with the filing cabinet, the bookshelf, or both. This desk set is made from compressed wood and it is heavy. The black finish has that nice wood grain detail. The set can in three separate boxes and requires assembly. The drawers are spacious, also having a soft close feature preventing loud slams. The assembly was pretty time consuming, it took me several hours to assemble all three pieces. I used a cordless screwdriver, but you really only need a screwdriver to assemble it. I did need help with a couple of pieces, but one person could assemble it alone. The instructions are very easy to follow and all the pieces and screws are numbered. My new desk is beautiful and well constructed. I’m sure it will last for years. It’s definitely not your cheaply made particle board furniture.. Anonymous. Wed Mar 18 2026

Beautiful item, fast delivery. Construction is sturdy. The only issue was the groove in the side panel that the metal rod goes into was cut slightly too small so we had to cut the wood just 2mm so that the rod would fit. The only other option would be to cut the metal rod, but we don’t have tools for that. Luckily we were able to make the wood groove bigger, but others might not be so lucky without the proper tools..
