I paid $650 for this desk on sale. Very disappointed in the quality. First, it is made of very light wood, pine I would guess. There are blemishes on the top where defects must have filled with putty or sawdust. The corners were damaged in shipping and do not look easily repairable (see photos). Overall, it is well constructed and functional but definitely not worth the price. I would be more satisfied if I had paid half of what I did, excluding the damage.. Douglass. Lancaster, PA.
