Solid bed, as described. That being said I do not recommend purchasing if you do not have your own tools and do not have any experience putting together bedroom furniture. You will need two people to assemble, and it will take a while to put together. If you get the feet construction is much more complicated and the video instructions do not include that step.. We ordered a full-size bedframe and received a twin size. Went through the whole customer service process and had to mail back the piece through FedEx.
