Love this cuckoo clock. When my parents visited Germany they brought us back a cuckoo clock just like this but a bit smaller. We had a fire in our house and the cuckoo clock was destroyed so we were thrilled to find this one on line. The website says it uses batteries that are not included. It has an internal battery so you don’t have to worry about changing batteries. It is gray to see the cuckoo pop out and hear it chirping.. Margaret. Holliston, MA. Wed Mar 17 2021

At the top of the hour and on the half hour this clock plays one of two alternating melodies: edelweiss or the happy Wanderer. The clock must be wound daily by pulling the chains. The sheep herder and waterwheel also move on the half-hour and hour.
