At 78 inches long, the Live Edge Console requires time to find the right specimens of wood to create each piece. Iron is cast for use in the legs for strong support of the extra-long console. The iron legs are finished in black for a clean look that focuses on the warm natural beauty of the wood. Each piece is made by hand and no 2 pieces will be the same. The Live Edge Console shows the beautiful natural grain variations of the wood where the darker rings of the center are accented by the lighter outer bands. Imported directly from Indonesia and constructed with responsibly sourced Indonesian Legal wood, the 78-inch Live Edge Console requires the minor assembly of the legs for use.

The rich color and beautiful grains of the heartwood, resemble black walnut. It is also highly resistant to decay and termites. Boon wood only requires basic cleaning with simple soap and water to maintain. For environmental concerns Boon is not on any endangered species list and it is eco friendly. The Boon tree is aptly nicknamed monkey pod wood for its beautiful crowning arbor sometimes reaching heights of up to 80 feet tall and as such a favorite yet bountiful play tree for these local residents.
