[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a real adult furniture store table. It’s heavy and it’s put together with nuts and bolts, not wooden pieces shoved into particle board. It’s big and it draws your eye the moment you walk into the house. The only issue is the design isn’t executed properly. It’s a farm house table made of reclaimed wood but it has too many flaws. There was a legitimate rusty staple on one of my table legs. I understand this was in the wood they reclaimed, but it should have been removed as rusty metal has no place on an expensive dining table. The top is too uneven. I’ve seen some farmhouses where the would plans are not level, that’s part of the design. But these planks individually are not smooth and I do feel like you can get a splinter. It also is not waterproofed, how do I clean it? Think of cleaning a picnic table outside, that’s what this is like. It’s big and seats 8, but it requires work from the purchaser to be functional. The top either needs a food safe coating to eat on, or as I am doing, I contacted a plastic top company to fit my table so it is more aligned and food doesn’t get stuck in the rivets and I can clean.
