I bought these because my dog is aging and keeps sliding and slipping as she goes up and down the stairs. These carpet treads help her with her grip and are particularly helpful when it is raining. However, when our parents come over we remove them because they do slide around and I would hate for them to slip and fall. I left the yellow trim, picking out and place the outdoor stair-steppers on wood They came in a box flat, not rolled Excellent quality I have the charcoal They have some cush to them There is no sticky stuff on the back so I staple them to the wood, staples were silver I just put a little magic marker that’s black colored the staples and it looks perfect Best part my cat loves them..
