Really beautiful combination of modern, clean lines and natural wood. Its definitely a low seating situation, and while I'm fine with it, my 70 something parents would have a difficult time sitting down and getting back up from the low position. The seating cushions, while a bit thin, are sturdy enough to provide an element of comfort, while the back cushions are actually quite comfortable to lean on - with the caveat that the back of the chairs are so low that your head is never supported, unless you're almost laying down and can rest your head on top of the pillow/seat back. The cushion fabric is great - a nice dark gray that instantly repels water and brushes debris off easily. It's a bit creaky, which could be caused by the slightly uneven concrete floor of my patio, or the fact that the wood pieces are on the thin side. If they were more bulky, I'd feel more confident in their stability and quality but they're nice enough. I don't think any plus size person, or more than one person on a chair at a time, would do well with these, as they don't feel sturdy enough for heavy weight. I can't speak to weather damage as my patio is covered and gets very little direct sunlight, although I believe the wood legs of the seat closest to the balcony railing wood will lighten over time. I'm planning on removing the cushions at some point soon to add a wood sealant/protector. Overall, the seating arrangement fits perfectly on my tiny patio, and looks lovely, and is comfortable 'enough' to lounge around for an hour or two at a time.. Jillian. Los Angeles, CA. I give this bed for stars because it came and was delivered on time, the appropriate pieces are in the box and after overlooking instructions I’m sure it be a piece of cake to put this together. Unfortunately due to the weather in Nevada and extreme flooding I cannot set it up until my roof and floor replacement is finished. Another couple weeks and I’ll be able to have this new bed. Yay!.
