I purchased two of these fixtures. Although over-priced, it’s hard to find bright small fixtures emitting 2700K. They have a heavier stainless base than $40 fixtures, but that doesn’t impact the appearance, and the eight small set screws that protrude from the sides look pretty cheesy.
The picture attached is how the packaging arrived, only taken after my best possible clean-up. The Styrofoam reminds me of packages from 30 yrs ago. You open the box, and a zillion charged Styrofoam seeds spread through the room, attaching themselves to your body as well. The lousy material, of course, is inadequate to protect the fixture even without external evidence of box trauma, and the glass of one of mine arrived broken along the edge. Possibly, Wayfair would replace it, but I’d rather have the broken vase than another one of these packages. I’m still cleaning up the mess costing me much more time than I spent installing the fixtures. And, I filled a garbage can of non-recyclable Styrofoam, I still have to figure how to rid various corners of the house, the Dustbuster, vacuum, and the underside of the garbage can lid of some of this stuff. I would not be surprised if this packaging material were illegal in my state (Oregon) since I haven’t seen it in decades. Prior to this, I've had only outstanding merchandise from Wayfair, now I'm wary. One might sense that I'm a bit angry and perhaps in a month I'd be more charitable.. Paul. Lake Oswego, OR.
