You know what, the couch itself is actually pretty nice, but the customer service and the entire delivery and assembly experience that I had was so god-awful that I’m only giving this two stars. First of all, our delivery driver left the two giant boxes this comes in in the middle of our freaking driveway, not on the porch, but in the middle of the driveway. We live in a duplex and the assembly wasn’t until the next day, these boxes can’t block our driveway, so we ended up having to lug the thing around after paying $100 for “expert assembly” to NOT have to lug the thing around. So don’t bother with the assembly if you don’t wanna have to move the boxes yourself because the assembly does not cover bringing it into whatever room you need it set up in, just so you know. I thought “expert assembly” included, bringing the boxes into the home and room that I needed it set up in and then setting it up (duh?!?) but apparently not. Then comes the next day. I get a text a few hours before I’m supposed to have this thing set up in my living room, which is full of these boxes. It’s the assembly guy telling me that he is sick and wants to reschedule out to a future date but doesn’t want to cancel it or it’ll “hurt his account”. ??! So I just paid $100 and now you’re not showing up?! Couldn’t have told me sooner?! So I call and say hey that’s really not gonna work for me, my living room is full of boxes and I need a couch, can you guys get someone else to come out here? They say no so I get a refund and I just do it myself. I’m sick by the way. Terrible experience, terrible customer service, I got no help when I asked them why they left it in the middle of the driveway instead of on my porch, no compensation for my wasted time and having to do all this myself when I’m sick. The answer I got to why it was in the driveway was that I paid for ground delivery, but every single other item that I get delivered with ground delivery gets delivered to my PORCH not the middle of my shared driveway. HONESTLY, JUST DO NOT BOTHER WITH WAYFAIR. Shop local, support local furniture companies. At least they will make it right if there is an issue and you can walk in and talk to somebody if you need to. Wayfair seems to have just given up on itself and I don’t really blame them considering their awful reputation (deserved). I will neverrrrr shop with them again and I thoroughly regret giving them any of my money. By the way, this couch is overpriced and you can get it cheaper elsewhere.
