We love that the taupe/gray tone is neutral which goes with almost any color scheme, but doesn't show every stain and scuff. The thick 0.5" pile height adds a cushioning effect to floors in low-traffic areas. This area rug comes with a canvas backing – pair it with a rug pad to prevent slipping and sliding.

Decent quality for the price although does not look very durable like high end rugs. Nice thickness and very soft. I ordered the taupe/gray color. It is a true beige in person. Not a hint of gray at all. It is beige from one side and very light beige/ivory from the opposite side. Same as other reviews indicated.
