This platform bed has an eye-catching design, and it features a low profile to make your bedroom appear larger. It's made from engineered wood, and it's wrapped in gray-hued polyester blend fabric. The headboard strikes a traditional wingback design and showcases button tufting and nailhead trim. Two USB ports let you charge your electronics as you sleep, while built-in side drawers on each side give you a spot to tuck away pillows and linens. Center legs and slats eliminate the need for a box spring, so all you need is the mattress of your choice (sold separately).
This is a lovely, lovely bed. The color is a little darker than I was expecting but I'm quite pleased. My teenaged grandson and I put it together and it took about 3.5 hrs total. It wasn't difficult; just more work than my back could do from the floor. I had two disappointments: 1) all of the instructions listed the bolts in mm so I had to find a ruler to identify which was what as some came in sacks and were unmarked; 2) for little extra money the company should have put metal supports on the sides rather than wood. To move this bed it has to be mostly taken apart or risk breaking the weak point over the top of the drawers. This means you really need the headboard exactly where you want it up against a wall before attaching the platform. Still, I gave this 5-stars. The drawers are large and quite functional.
