Many competing models are advertised as solid wood when in fact only the structural frame of the cabinet is made of solid wood, and the doors, drawers, and other panels are made of fiberboard. The frame, doors, and drawers are 100% solid birch wood. Natural finish drawer interiors so that you can see exactly what it's made of.
