The picture looks like there are white areas in the rug but it's not white at all, it's a dark cream colour. The rug design is beautiful, was just disappointed with the colour as I thought it would be white. Also, on each side of the rug it was squished so that one side sticks out and the other side curves in. I'm hoping that will settle with time. The rug sheds ALOT! I have been vacuuming this rug constantly or else I have wool balls floating around my living room. Overall, I was a little disappointed but not enough to send it back.
