For the price, these were what I wanted. I considered rustic-looking chairs made from whisky barrels on Etsy, but those were above my budget. These were shipped quickly, were easy enough to assemble, and they appear sturdy enough for everyday use for at least a few years. Heavy use, with people constantly getting on and off -- I might question how long the vinyl seats would last. I like the dark brown color and the solid wood pieces. I like the "weave" backing design, but it does appear a little fake-y and plastic-y upon close inspection. If you like the design and the firm cushion, for this price these are a great choice..
