I've seen this chair in person at a consignment shop and thought it would be perfect for my space. I did some research and found it brand new for much less here. I also found out the leather is not at all top grain, but a manufactured fake called "Alfredo Leather". For a top grain product, the cost would be way out of our range, think 4K, and I wasn't willing to pay those prices. I do like the feel of this pleather,and hope it doesn't flake over the years, but even if it does, it feels great, is exactly perfect for my small space, and I love the smooth gliding and swiveling in-between the cozy reclining. So far, so good. This is my first wayfair purchase, and while it has all around good reviews I was still a little bit nervous. But, delivery was quick and easy. This particular chair was pretty simple to put together, just snap the back into place and it’s only one screw to put the handle on. It’s a firmer cushion but I appreciate the support. Like others said, you don’t “sink” into it, at least not while it’s still new. I’m about 5’3” and on the heavier side and there’s plenty of room for both me and my cat. If you’re leaning towards it, definitely give it a try. You can’t beat it for the features (nice recline angle, glides, and fully swivels).
